The Oxygen Farm Reserve lies beside the tiny village of Elands (pop. 53), an isolated community situated at 2,000' (630m) on the edge of the Bulga Plateau. With views of the coastal plain and the Pacific Ocean, Elands rests on the eastern fall of the great dividing range astride the watershed of the Hastings and Manning river catchments on the mid north coast of New South Wales.

Information Gazebo
Oxygen Farm Gazebo
There is an Information gazebo at the main entrance to the Oxygen Farm. This is on Bulga Road in Elands village. The Gazebo has information about the Oxygen Farm Conservation Reserve, a map showing the walking trial and pamphlets for you take on your walk which describe the various numbered points of interest you will encounter on the trail .
Walking trails
Walking trail
We have establsihed a walking trail which winds its way in a loop from the Gazebo down into the forest and back up to the main road. The trail is quite steep in places and requires a medium level of fitness. Don't forget to pick up your trail pamphelt at the Gazebo before you start. The pamphlet provides an interpretation of the various numbered points along the trail. Allow about an hour for the walk and remember to stay on the track!
Bulga Falls Lookout
Bulga Falls Lookout
A second walking trail will lead you to the scenic Bulga Falls Lookout. Here there is a large bench, the "love seat" where you can comfortably enjoy the view and even spread out a picnic. Directions to the Bulga Falls lookout are provided at the Gazebo
